Baby Juan van Niekerk was born on the 28th August 2024, with a severe cleft pallet. He was only released from hospital a week after he was born and not long after was admitted for influenza again for 3 days in hospital.
He has a challenging road ahead of him with multiple operations in order for him to have a normal life.
With all the medical bills coming through we are feeling overwhelmed and need urgent assistance to cover the medical bills that the medical aid does not cover (which is a lot).
I invite you to look into his eyes and see the beautiful boy that he already is. Although he struggles to drink and gets sick easily he still smiles when calling his name. what strength he is showing us is amazing.
