Help Support Baby Eli’s Fight 💖
Our precious baby Eli was born prematurely at just 26 weeks, and his journey since has been nothing short of a rollercoaster. 💔 Over the past month, Eli has faced enormous challenges with strength and resilience, but the road ahead remains steep, and we need your help to give him the best possible care.
Eli’s tiny body has endured so much in his first weeks of life:
He has been on a ventilator since birth and is battling chronic lung disease due to his prematurity. 🫁
Infections have been a constant hurdle, including a recent adenovirus that caused fluid buildup around his lungs and heart, as well as bleeding in his lungs. He has undergone multiple blood and plasma transfusions to stabilize him.
Eli’s ventilator settings have been pushed to the maximum, and he remains on 100% oxygen with full sedation to help him rest and recover.
He managed to come off the ventilator briefly before catching the latest virus, which meant he had to go back on it.
