At 01:45, 10th of June, the lives of Stephan Potgieter and his family changed in an instant.
Stephan suffered a huge sudden heart attack and was rushed to hospital, where he was receiving treatment. Doctors have advised that he urgenty required an angiogram, stent and specialist cardiac care, and arrangements was made for him to undergo the procedure at Mediclinic.
For those who know Stephan, this news comes as a shock.
For years, Stephan has been one of the people our community could always depend on. As a firefighter and first responder, he has spent countless hours serving others, often at the most difficult moments of their lives.
