My name is Raymond and I am writing this on behalf of my Cousin Andre Wiid who recently discovered that he has cancer of the bladder.
Andre has a medical aid and is currently undergoing Chemo therapy at Mediclinic in Nelspruit (Mbombela). The Chemo will last until August. Following Chemo the bladder will be removed, and he will have to wear a Urostomy Bag attached to a stoma on his abdomen. This is irreversible and will be a lifelong attachment.
Andre owns a one-man business whereby he has acquired a very powerful vacuum cleaner, and he offers his services to clean the inside of Thatched Roof houses.
The Chemo is draining Andre to the extent that he cannot continue with his business at present and the bladder removal has the potential of putting him out of action for up to 5 Months.
Andre is a military veteran, having served at 61 mech and a veteran of operation Sceptic.
