CBC winter festival

Hi,my name is Basetsana Mangaba from Pretoria,Gauteng.I have been chosen to represent the Gauteng U12 NG Sky team at the Regional IPT 2023,hosted in Krugersdorp.I am a grade 6 schooler at CBC Mount Edmund, I am 12 years old.

 

I started playing hockey at the age of 6 years old,that’s when my passion began.I played for the U12A team for the IPT Regional in 2022 when I was 11 years old and we won the tournament.

 

After experiencing that,I started dreaming about playing in the World Cup for my country.I am also playing for the U16 hockey team at my school.I am really grateful to be selected to play for the U12 team.

 

However,I won’t be able to realise this achievement without your goodwill.I need to raise R11 000 by the 20th of July to participate in the 2023 inter CBC Festival tournament in Cape Town.

 

The money will be covering our tournament fees,including flight, accommodation and food. It also covers playing kit.
