Because of Thabang

It started with one matric student.

Thabang is a young man who, despite incredibly difficult circumstances, was determined not to allow his financial situation to rob him of the matric dance experience, dignity and opportunity that every young person deserves.

When he needed help, he found the courage to ask.

And some people answered.

While many argued on the comment section of my Tik Tok video. Many others decided to donate to the cause. I will announce the money we have raised for Thabang on Tik Tok. Will also provide proof of how it is spent. His immediate needs for the Matric Dance have been met, we are helping him now with housing, food and other essentials, this is after I discovered that he lives alone in Johannesburg with not much assistance at all, and really…what started as a simple effort to help one young man has shown me something much bigger: there are many more young people like Thabang.
