Hello, my name is Berenice Dalwai and I am a two-time breast cancer warrior.  If you know me, you’ll know I'm better at helping (with a smile no matter what) than asking for help.

In December 2022, what I thought was a simple mosquito bite led to tests that changed my life forever. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer with four tumours. The news left me shocked, terrified and numb.

The next 10 months were filled with chemotherapy, a mastectomy with reconstruction, and radiation. It was the hardest battle of my life, but with the support of my loved ones, faith, and determination, I fought through it and was eventually declared cancer-free.
