At 37 years old, Bidi Barrett has already conquered one of the most significant challenges of his life: qualifying for the Comrades Marathon. Born blind, Bidi’s journey has never been easy, but his unrelenting determination and passion for running have pushed him beyond the limit's others might have set for him. On November 2nd, at the Kaapsehoop 42km race, Bidi crossed the finish line and earned his place in the world-famous Comrades Marathon, one of the toughest ultra-marathons in the world.

But while qualifying for the race is a monumental achievement, it’s only the beginning of a long road ahead. To run the Comrades and make his dream a reality, Bidi needs our help.
