Body Stress Release Outreach - Heartlands Baby Sanctuary

BSR Outreach is a compassionate initiative by The Body Stress Release Foundation, focused on providing comfort and support through Body Stress Release (BSR). Our committed volunteer practitioners offer this complementary health technique to individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, including 170 children and adults who receive monthly sessions. This program aims to alleviate discomfort and improve overall well-being for those in need.

In March 2023, Charissa, a passionate BSR practitioner from Strand, felt a calling to support her local community. With permission from the Foundation, she began a monthly outreach at Heartlands Baby Sanctuary in Somerset West. This safe haven provides crucial care to 25 children, aged birth to 6 years, who are in desperate need of protection and love. Charissa’s efforts, joined by fellow practitioner Paul in December 2023, have brought hope and relief to these vulnerable children.
