Unfortunately, we received some concerning news about our beloved baby.
BONGO underwent surgery on all 4 legs to address Flexural Deformity (Contracted Tendons), which affects his deep digital flexor tendons. This condition causes abnormal positioning of the hoof or limb.
Symptoms include:
- Upright pasterns
- Walking on toes
- Inability to place heel properly
BONGO was also be fitted with special shoes to help alleviate his condition.
We're reaching out for help with his hospital bills. These procedures are costly, but crucial for his quality of life.
