Hi friend,

This is difficult to write, but I don't have many options. I also acknowledge there are many people in the world more deserving than me, but once again, in my circumstance I don’t have much choice.

Bianca had an excellent job with a USA company but was laid off last October/November. Due to currency conversion, we relied heavily on her income for important bills. I've used all my resources, including my Takealot salary, private consultations, and starting a flooring company to keep us going. 

COVID-19 hit us hard in 2019; I was laid off from an events company and had to use all our savings. This was especially tough since just three months prior, I decided to stay after resigning and a carrot was dangled which I accepted, this then helped us buy our first home and a car when my Polo's gearbox broke. With Mason on the way at the time too, it was a struggle for a year before I got employed at Takealot.

Unfortunately, at the end of April this year, I lost my job at Takealot because I was not allowed to have any side jobs. I've managed to get by...
