Bringing Wisdom Home after 5 years : A Story of Sacrifice and Love

Wisdom is a man who has come to South Africa to find a better way to support his family. I know this is the story of almost every second person in South Africa, one we have become accustomed to, but this man is close to home, and if there is a small chance of helping him, then it’s worth a try. Wisdom has four children and a wife. He has not seen his family in five years. Wisdom has worked for the same persons as a gardener and groundskeeper for ten years. His employers do the best they can but are not able to offer him the opportunity to return home. Wisdom earns below the breadline, like many others in this country. He has made the sacrifice in the hope of providing his family with the absolute bare minimum to survive back home. At this rate, he will never be able to return home on his earnings and still ensure they have food on the table and a roof over their head.
