Brothers from the Hood: Mentoring Young Men

15 young men from Hanover Park. A group of safe, grounded male mentors. A monthly programme built around brotherhood, life skills and real human connection.

What began as a conversation about mentorship, positive male role models and creating safe spaces for young men has become a reality.

Brothers from the Hood is a monthly mentorship and development programme designed to support young men from Hanover Park through guidance, connection, leadership development and meaningful experiences. Our vision extends far beyond a single session - we're building a sustainable programme that provides ongoing mentorship, support and opportunities throughout the year, in collaboration with Embodied Brotherhood and other volunteers.

Why This Programme Matters

Many young men are growing up without enough positive male role models or safe spaces where they can be heard, challenged and encouraged.
