From First Response to Full Recovery: Help Us Build a Safe Haven for Wildlife in Recovery

For the past five years, Grace Valley Wildlife Rescue has been on the frontlines of wildlife emergencies in the Overberg. We’ve been the first on the scene when animals were in distress; from owls caught in barbed wire, to a lanner falcon who couldn't fly, a baby duiker orphaned and injured, tortoises burned in wildfires, and even a partially paralysed eagle owl needing urgent care - and that's just to name a few… we have been there for each and every one of them.

Our role has been to provide critical first aid and stabilization before arranging transport to permitted rehabilitation centres hours away. 

We've also helped healthy animals stay in the wild by reuniting baby birds with their parents, networking to ensure safe zones for fledging owlets, and safely reuniting baby bats with their families.
