Calling on Carley's Community

They say it takes a community to raise a child, today more than ever I really need that to be true. As a mom it is incredibly hard for me to ask for help, but I am reaching out to this community with everything in my heart to ask for your help to raise the funds my daughter desperately needs for a scoliosis brace.

Carley is 12 years old. She absolutely loves anything arty, drawing, painting and can turn a blank page into something beautiful. Carley is also very passionate about ballet. She has big dreams of pursuing these passions and has a future filled with possibility. But right now, she’s facing a huge challenge. She has idiopathic scoliosis with a 46-degree curve in her spine which is considered moderate to severe. Without treatment, the curve can worsen, affecting her health, her confidence and even the ability to keep dancing.

She urgently needs a specialised brace, one that can support her spine as she continues to grow and to help stop the progression of the curve as well as potentially prevent the need for surgery later in her life. This brace is expensive an...
