We are writing with deep humility and urgency to request support for Cameron Strugnell-Sanders, a resident of Durban, South Africa, who will soon be turning 39 in June. He is a father of two children, aged 12 and 19 and is currently facing a life-threatening diagnosis of stage 4 melanoma.

This diagnosis has come as a devastating shock to his family, friends and loved ones. Cameron is now undergoing urgent medical intervention, with his treatment plan including radiation preparation followed by 10 consecutive days of radiation therapy. Thereafter, there is a possible clinical trial option available, depending on whether he meets the required medical criteria.

Even if he qualifies for the trial, there will still be significant ongoing costs related to travel, accommodation, medical consultations and continued care, as treatment may not be available locally in Durban. Should he not qualify for the trial, the only alternative would be private specialised treatment which carries substantial financial implications.

The estimated cost of treatment alone exceeds R1.5 mil...

God Bless all. Camo has under gone 4 sessions of radiation and no longer has stress about the R15830 bill received from Albert Luthuli Hhospital and can now afford to buy imune boosters
