Canaan Pre School Classroom Fundraiser

My name is Londiwe Khumalo, founder of Canaan Organisation.

Canaan Organisation is a community initiative dedicated to helping children, youth, and families in need through various support programmes. Every day we work to create a safe, supportive environment where vulnerable children can learn, grow, and feel cared for.

As our work has grown, so has the number of children and families who come to us for help. Many people seek support from Canaan because they have seen the positive impact we have had in the community. Unfortunately, our biggest challenge right now is space. We simply do not have enough room to accommodate the growing number of learners and beneficiaries, and turning people away is incredibly difficult because many of them see Canaan as their place of hope.

Another major challenge we face is the lack of awareness and support for learning disabilities. Many of the children in our programmes live with conditions such as Autism, ADHD, and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), as well as other chronic illnesses. Through our work we are trying to rai...
