Cancer Mom CPT

Hello, Asalaamu alaykum,

My name is Aaliyah. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the young age of 34. 

Where do I begin? In the months surrounding my diagnosis, so much has happened:

• I was retrenched from work – April 2025
• We were given notice to leave our home (Alhamdulillah, we were able to move into my mom’s house, which was a huge blessing) – June 2025
• I gave birth to my twin girls, Alhamdulillah always – August 2025
• I was diagnosed with my cancer – October 2025

All of this in just six months. As you’re still trying to process one life-changing event, another comes along just as suddenly. Through it all, we remind ourselves: Alhamdulillah, always.
