As registered Children’s Homes (Child and Youth Care Centres) we manage two campuses in Pretoria, i.e., Jakaranda Kinderhuis (NPO183-619) in East Lynne and Louis Botha Kinderhuis (NPO 181-992) in Queenswood, Pretoria.
The children are placed in our care by the Children’s Court, after they were removed from unfavourable circumstances. We provide them with therapy, medical care, and a home where they can feel safe and loved. We also transport the children to and from 31 different schools in Pretoria daily. With a capacity of 327 children aged between 3 and 18 years, we have 19 houses (maximum 225 children) at Jakaranda Kinderhuis and nine houses (maximum 102 children) at Louis Botha Kinderhuis.
The Academy for Canoe Development is hosting a fundraiser in aid of the Jakaranda- & Louis Botha Kinderhuis.
