Cetric Mphofela – Environmental Awareness Activist

My name is Cetric Mphofela, from Laezonia, Pretoria. I have been involved in environmental awareness since 2022, working to educate communities about protecting our environment, keeping our areas clean, and caring for nature.

Through my journey, I have completed 259 clean-up campaigns and collected 234,566 pieces of litter across Gauteng, helping to raise awareness about the impact of littering and illegal dumping on communities, rivers, wildlife, and the environment.

In 2026, I took on a personal awareness walk from Laezonia, Pretoria to the Kruger National Park to inspire people to respect Mother Nature, stop littering, fight illegal dumping, and support wildlife conservation.

My mission is to continue creating awareness and working together with environmental organisations, communities, and people who share the same vision of protecting our planet.
