Carter Claasen’s Rugby Journey to Ireland

My name is Tyron Claasen, and I am a proud father reaching out for support for my son, Carter Claasen.

Carter is a dedicated and passionate young rugby player who has worked incredibly hard to grow in the sport he loves. From a young age, he has shown commitment, discipline, and a strong love for rugby.

He attended Kidds Beach Primary School and later moved to Hudson Park Primary School, where his rugby journey really began to take shape. During his Grade 7 year, Carter achieved several important milestones. He was selected for the Hudson Park Primary U13A Rugby Team and proudly represented Border at U13 level, as well as the Border U13 Sevens team.

One of his biggest achievements was being selected for the 2025 U13 Craven Week, one of the most prestigious youth rugby tournaments in South Africa. This was a proud moment for our family and a clear sign of his potential.
