Cash for Ash

It was the 28th May 2021 when we published our first post about Ash on our Cash for Ash Facebook page letting everyone know that our incredible friend Ashley Rudings - a wife, mom of 3, daughter, sister and friend to many had been diagnosed with Stage 4 Medullary Thyroid Cancer which had spread to her liver and spine. 

Our posts kept everyone updated on the funds we started raising, the ups and downs of getting the medication she needed from across the globe, the progress of her treatment, as well as finding out that her and and her husband Steve's youngest daughter Gracen had tested positive for the same cancer causing gene, and had to have her thyroid removed as a preventative measure. Through the lowest lows of treatment and with everything going on, Ash remained positive that she could beat this, fighting every day for her future with her family.
