Dear Donors, Readers, Supporters and Community,

We are a registered NPO, dedicated to welfare and hunger relief in and around Yeoville, Gauteng. Established in 1961, for the last 64 years, we have been reducing hunger by repurposing surplus food into healthy nutritious meals and to date, we currently serve 102 000 meals per annum. 

Every day, we prepare soup and offer bread to those who have nowhere else to turn. For many of our beneficiaries, the simple bowl of soup they receive from us is the only meal they will eat that day.

Our work supports four deeply vulnerable groups:

• Vulnerable and Deprived Children: Around 30 children visit us daily. Many cannot attend school due to lack of citizenship, and more than half are undernourished. From infants to 18 years old, some have never had the chance to set foot in a classroom.
• Unemployed, Displaced, and Homeless Individuals: Approximately 110 people rely on our daily soup and bread to survive.
