Chanty needs our help whilst she recovers!

On Friday the 6th of December, our beautiful Chantal had a terrible freek accident. She was making herself a cup of tea on the gas stove, and her jumper caught alight. 

Chanty has sustained 20% body burns on her abdomen, chest, neck, ear, and jaw. 

Some of the burns are deep and recovery will be slow and long, she will also require surgery. 

Chanty is a self employed make up artist, and needs our help day to day medical costs and monthly bills. 

Chanty has been moved to Tygerberg Hospital, since she does not have Medical Aid. 

We are desperate to get her better medical treatment, and get her to an environment where can get the appropriate care for burn wounds. 

She will also need to support post care as the expected recovery time is up to 1 year, as some of her burns were down to the bone. 

We are reaching out to friends and family to help us raise funds so she can concentrate on getting better and not stress about finances.
