Chardi's Vision

At the age of 7, I was diagnosed with a rare eye condition called Stargardt's disease (Macular Dystrophy). This disease affected the central focus of my vision and therefore I can only use my peripheral vision to see. Everything I see, is mostly blurry (see pictures). My current vision rating is 3/60, meaning what normal people can see at 60 meters away, I see at 3 meters away. I currently have less than 30% eye sight and although I'm not totally blind, I still classify as a person who is legally blind. 

Today, I'm a 44 year old wife and mother who has a passion for life and for helping people to become the best versions of themselves through books and motivational speaking. Unfortunately my eye condition limits my ability to fully help other people, as I struggle performing normal, everyday tasks.

Tasks such as reading, whether it's a book, warning signs, prices or just text messages, it's a nightmare. Not only does it put a lot of strain on my eyes, but it also takes a lot of time. Even watching TV is a struggle. If it's not a big screen...
