I am only 39 years old. A mother. A wife. And right now, I am in the fight of my life.

My journey began at just 18 months old, when a kidney illness nearly took me. Doctors said I wouldn’t live to see 10… but I held onto faith, and somehow, I did.
Through my life, I have faced unimaginable loss.
In one year, I lost my grandfather, my mother, my husband… and more loved ones followed. The silence of that loss is something I carry every day.

But through it all, God has been my strength. When I had nothing left, I still had my faith — and it carried me.

I found love again. I married a man who has stood by me through everything.

We took in a foster daughter who is still with us.
After tons of heartbreak — even a miscarriage — we were blessed to give birth to my child in 2019.
