Chemotherapy Treatment

Hi Everyone 

My name is Ayanda Biyela. In August 2025 I was diagnosed with early stage cholangiocarcinoma. This is an aggressive form of liver cancer where tumors/cancer cells form within the bile ducts which leads to blockages of the bile ducts and various other side effects. Studies are currently being done on the best form of chemo for this cancer and because of how rare it is the study is quite small which is why most medical aids will not fund the essential part of this treatment. I start chemotherapy soon and I'm really hoping to get the full treatment, just at a shot at life. I have so much faith and I refuse to accept defeat even when the odds are stacked against me. I would be so eternally grateful if this story could touch someones heart and bring about some form of hope not only for myself but for other in this situation.
