Christopher "Rasta" Maseko - needs a "new" eye

Many of our guests will know Christopher - he is an amazing guide, with a huge amount of passion for wildlife and he absolutely loves his job as a guide in the Kruger National Park. If you spent time with Christopher you will know all about his great sense of humour too!

Chris “Rasta” Maseko was involved in a serious accident a few weeks at the beginning of November 2024, which sadly resulted in the loss of one of his eyes. As a safari guide, this is a huge setback for him, and we are now seeking to raise funds to help cover the cost of his prosthetic eye. Unfortunately, as Chris does not have medical aid, he will need to cover the expenses entirely on his own.

His operation is planned for early February 2025 and we hope to raise enough to cover not only the cost of the prosthetic eye, but also the transport and logistical expenses, and hopefully a little extra to support him through the coming months as he adjusts to this major life change.
