It's CRUNCH TIME for Christy now - she needs a major operation (involving brain surgery) as a last resort to keep the Parkinson's at bay and buy her more time with her children. Christy needs your help now more than ever. The operation is very costly and will not be completely covered by her medical aid. She also requires substantial recovery time (months) & therapy after the operation. The disease has become extremely debilitating now and Christy is able to spend only short periods working, thus her income has once again been reduced significantly. It is hoped that the operation (planned for January 2026) will greatly reduce the symptoms for several years, allowing her to maintain her independence and care for her children. THIS CAMPAIGN STARTS FROM ZERO ON 15 DECEMBER 2025, and excludes previous efforts (since 2022) that raised about R358k.
