Hi there, my name is Christy Gilmour, age 23 and I am 1 of 2 South African Female Longboard Surfers that has been invited to the 2024 MexiLogFest taking place from the 18th - 25th May 2024.
I was first invited and competed in this event in 2021 and it is the most prestigious longboard surfing event in the world! In 2021 I was the only female South African to get invited.
It would be an honor to return to Mexico for the 2024 MexiLogFest and to showcase my style and grace on a longboard and my passion for this sport.
Not only was the experience incredible but getting to surf against the world’s best longboard surfers was an absolute privilege and it is a great test for my surfing, I hope to do it again in 2024.
I am asking for your help to get me there and to fly the South African Flag high!
