Hi, I'm Cindy. Life's been a little “a lot” lately. February and March were months of change— job opportunities, graduation, a new home, love, and a second furbaby!

And...a cancer diagnosis.

Doctors say papillary thyroid cancer is the best cancer to pick.

In a strange way, it is - it's slow growing (which is good, since my neck has been swollen from 2019!) Still, you can't blame a girl for being a bit overwhelmed.

Cancer was definitely not on my 2025 wishlist.

There's been little rhyme or reason for the cause, even in 2019 with a benign biopsy and tests. Fast forward to 2025: the cancer is detectable, and this little insecurity is more than just noticeable.

I'm doing okay (imagine the picture of the dog meme in the burning room).

Okay… maybe I'm still finding my way through this.

In any case, April is going to be even better (hey, besides the cancer, I was having a pretty good 2025)—it’s the start of treatment! A surgery on the 24th, a dose of radioactive iodine a little later, and meds with monitoring (forever). Som...
