💚 HELP US KEEP QUEENSTOWN CLEAN 💚

Since July 2021, Clean Queenstown has remained committed to restoring pride, dignity, and cleanliness throughout our community. What started as a small cleanup initiative has grown into a passionate movement focused on creating a safer, healthier, and more beautiful Queenstown for everyone.

Over the years, we have cleared illegal dumping sites, removed tons of waste from streets and rivers, revived neglected public spaces, and worked tirelessly to inspire our community to care for the environment around them. Even with limited resources, we continue showing up because we believe our community deserves better.

One of the biggest challenges we face is the lack of reliable transport.

Without our own vehicle, it becomes extremely difficult to reach certain areas and remove refuse immediately after cleanups. Many times, the bags we work so hard to fill are torn open again before they can be taken to the landfill site, forcing us to repeat the same work all over again.
