As a patient currently receiving regular treatment in the Chemo room at Vredenburg Cancer Care, I have been overwhelmed by the kindness, the humour, the caring and professionalism of the whole team there. Sister Marian leads the chemo team with a wonderful happy and down to earth manner which creates the right atmosphere for newcomers and regulars alike.
There is something I would like to do to thank everyone at Cancer Care Vredenburg and that is to fund the purchase of a Bean to Cup coffee machine for staff and patients to be able to enjoy a really good cup of coffee to boost their day. Sister Marian has often said it would be so lovely to have a proper cup of coffee for the room but that the machines are so expensive. Hence this request……..
I will kick things off with R1000 donation and if you are able to make any donation small or large for this special cause I would be so happy for them. Thank you in advance!
UPDATE: The required amount for this campaign has been raised as firstly the price of the coffe machine we were looking at went up...
