My name is Paballo, and I am a passionate student filmmaker currently in my final year for a BA in Motion Picture at AFDA Johannesburg.

As students, my crew and I are faced with financial constraints that limit the resources and opportunities available to bring our school project to its full potential. Our film project, titled ‘Blood Tied to the Other Side’, follows the story of a talented and ambitious young girl with a passion for dance. Despite facing adversity and limited resources, her dreams of becoming a professional dancer shine brightly until her uncle, whom she trusts implicitly, offers to invest in her future.
