Crowdfunding a Surf Bus for the kids of Muizenberg

(**Update June 2025**) Our dream is coming true! Thanks to all of you for supporting us this far! Through an amazing contact Idun our cause was put forward to Bingo! (The German National Lottery) and after much proposals it was accepted and they have agreed to pay the balance required to get the Surf Bus!!! Incredible, gratitude is an understatement!)

The big reason for this campaign, is that all our young surfers (from as young as 8 years old) walk up to 5km each way from their homes on the Cape Flats to reach the Academy. On this walk they have to run a dangerous gauntlet past gangsters, drug addicts and opportunistic robbers, all willing to prey on vulnerable kids.

(**Update March 2025**) Donations have slowed down but we are working on some outside SA potential sponsors who might get involved and put in the balance!… watch this space
