My name is Dylan Matthews

I am a 17 year old with a massive passion for wildlife conservation. I have had an interest for rhinos since I was very young and have always wanted to help support the efforts to help protect them. 

Over the years, I have fundraised for Save the Rhinos International and Ol'Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya, however I feel that it is time that i help a local organisation.

In 2024, I will be challenging myself to cycle the 42km Cape Town Cycle Tour within the required 3 hour cut-off in order to raise funds and awareness for Project Rhino.

Project Rhino is an organisation based in KwaZulu-Natal. It helps provide anti-poaching tactical units, medical professionals and aerial support units to many state and privately run game reserves. In addition to this, they run their own, as well as support other wildlife education programmes that help teach local communities the importance of protecting our wildlife.
