Hi there, my name is Brinke, my dad is a 54 year old type 1 diabetic, he is on dialysis, kidneys on 0%, he lives in a 24/7 care unit as he struggles to do basic things on his own-he is very weak.
Dad recently fell and broke 2 ribs, this is a major setback for his recovery. It feels awful to not be able to help, but I'd like to make it as comfortable as possible for him and help pay some bills for oxygyn, transport, medication etc. Me and my family live far away from dad (due to my studies and work) I try to visit him as much as possible, but plane tickets are expensive. If it were possible, I'd like to help my mother visit him as it is not financially possible at the moment. We miss him, and will carry on praying for him.
