Hi, my name is Daisy Kahwenga, a clinical pharmacy master's student at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University. Recently, I had the honor of having my research selected to be presented at this year's 81st International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) Congress in Australia, Brisbane (24-28 September). This is a remarkable opportunity for me to share my findings and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of psychiatric pharmacy.
My research focuses on the management and treatment of psychotic and bipolar disorders in the public healthcare system in South Africa. As an avid mental healthcare advocate, I strongly believe that my work will help establish a solid foundation for the field of psychiatric pharmacy within the public healthcare sector and provide essential interventions for patients in need. The FIP Congress serves as a global platform where experts, researchers, and professionals come together to exchange ideas, collaborate, and shape the future of pharmacy practice.
