From Fish Hoek to Poland - Help Us Make the Dream a Reality

From the small suburb of Fish Hoek in Cape Town’s Deep South, Thania’s Academy of Performing Arts has been working tirelessly to turn dreams into reality.

What started as a small local dance studio has grown into a family of passionate dancers who have spent months training, sacrificing, travelling and pushing themselves to reach the highest levels of competition in South Africa.

The Road to Poland

The journey began with our dancers competing through two regional qualifying rounds, where they fought for their opportunity to progress to the South African Body of Dance National Championships in Johannesburg.

Reaching Nationals was already an incredible achievement.

At the National Championships, our dancers stepped onto the floor alongside some of the best dancers from across South Africa — and they made us incredibly proud.

Every one of our teams placed in the Top 3! 

As a result of competing at the National Championships, our dancers were awarded their Western Province...
