Dane Klein Dog Feeding Initiative

This BackaBuddy account is being created on behalf of our son Dane, a big animal lover. Dane's one wish for his birthday this year was to receive dog food instead of presents to feed the many stray dogs in our area, Ocean View. He received quite a bit for his birthday, however, we would like to make this an ongoing project where we are able to feed the dogs every day and not run out. The funds received would be used to buy dog food and containers for the dogs to eat/drink from. (Dane prefers them eating from a bowl, rather than directly off the ground.) It would be great to carry on with this initiative. Many people have already said that they would like to contribute or donate, which is not what we were expecting from this at all! These dogs are homelss, hungry and desperate for food and Dane gets extremely emotional when he sees the state they are in and many times has asked if we can take the dogs in. These animals are very close to his heart and since he's been a little boy, he's always grown up around dogs and his love for them never went away as he grew older. A huge impact...
