Eye laser

Our daughter is now in need of a very specific dye that our medical aid will not fully cover.

This specific dye and laser has to be done in Johannesburg. We have obtained the dye and gracefully ask for help with the fundraising as we are trying eeverything to save the eye she has left.

The cost of the visudyne is R54000 aND our medical aID is only paying R22000.

Our daughter, Danica, was diagnosed with a rare and unknown eye condition in 2017 at the age of 12. What was supposed to be a routine check up, turned into an extremely difficult few months of uncertainty.

We found out that she was blind in her right eye and her left eye has fluid behind her optic nerve, which if not treated could lead to her going blind.
