Daniel has been climbing since he was a toddler. He basically went from walking to climbing whatever his hands could grab.
He is passionate about this sport and when our budget fell short, devised his own training and coaching plan (about 3 years).
We were so surprised when he got Gauteng colors upon participating in his very first climbing competition. In his second competition, he made the selections to become a Protea and represent SA in the Youth World Champs 2023 in South Korea. If we can send him to the Youth World Champs, it will be his 3rd comp EVER.
Daniel made it this far with raw talent, commitment, and drive. Imagine how far he can go with proper backing!
Indoor Climbing is now an Olympic sport...#just saying #
