Support Little Daniël Janse van Rensburg’s Fight to Recover
Daniël Janse van Rensburg is a lively, busy little 1-year-old boy who changed our world in the most beautiful way. On Friday, 17 April, our lives took a heartbreaking turn when Daniël fell into a swimming pool.
He was rushed to Sandton Mediclinic, where he has been receiving incredible care. He has shown so much strength already, and we are deeply grateful for every small victory along the way. However, this journey has not been without setbacks.
During the process of warming his body, Daniël did not respond as the doctors had hoped, and he is currently being cooled again. Because of this, important brain scans have been postponed until he responds better to the warming process and is able to regulate his temperature on his own. At this stage, we continue to wait, pray, and trust for healing as his medical team carefully monitors him.
As Daniël remains in hospital, his mother needs to stay close by to be near him during this critical time. The family lives about 67km from Sandton, and with the high...
