We don’t just "pick up" animals. We step into stories of abandonment, heartbreak, and resilience.

Every dog that enters our gates has a different history:

The "Discarded": A litter of six, 9-day old puppies were found shivering in a cardboard box late at night. They were left like rubbish after their mother was tragically poisoned. Without a mom, these newborns require 24/7 care to survive.

The "Displaced": Dogs, young and old, whose owners have hit hard times, people moving to pet-free housing or facing financial struggles, forced to say goodbye to their best friends.

The "Forgotten": Dogs found tied to trees or left to fend for themselves in empty yards, surrounded by litter, wondering when their humans are coming back.

No matter how they arrive, the cost of their "second chance" is significant. To take a newborn puppy to 6 months old costs an average of R2,400 for basic medical care (Parvo tests, vaccinations, deworming, and sterilization). This excludes the cost o...
