During the Fichardtpark/Kovsie cricket Smash in January 2024, our son, Davyd Oosthuizen, was selected from 200 players to represent the Lions cricket team as pace bowler and allrounder that will tour the Netherlands during the June / July holidays of 2024.
Davyd was in the Mangaung Metro Team in primary school and high school. He represented the Caspian Tigers u/14 & U/17 during the Free State Premier League. Davyd has always played with a humble heart, as well as team spirit. Cricket is his passion and as parents we would like to make this tour happen for him.
During this tour Davyd and his team will play teams from the Netherlands. The Netherlands also offer quality training facilities for cricket and he will be able to benefit from this. This can greatly impact his cricketing career and develop his God-given talent.
All funds raised will go towards the cost of this tour and for the necessary cricket equipment.
