🩵 Help Mianey and Luandre – Two Brave Burn Survivors 🩵

We are the Verwey family, raising funds on behalf of Mianey (6) and Luandre (4) – survivors of a devastating fire accident that occurred on 27 August 2023.

That day changed their lives forever. Both children sustained severe burns and have been on an incredibly difficult and emotional journey of recovery. Going for to years, their progress is inspiring, but daily challenges still remain.

We are deeply proud of how far these two little heroes have come, and we continue to stand by them as they fight every day toward healing and restoration.

Luandre is currently attending school half-day and adjusting well.

Mianey has not been able to return to school since November 2023 after undergoing surgery to insert a scalp expander. The purpose of this procedure was to gradually stretch the skin on her head so that it could eventually be used to restore her hair.
