Debating at Nationals: Help us go to Nationals

Hi! We are a passionate team of young primary school debaters from Centre of Excellence in East London, South Africa, who are but only 5 months old. In May this year, we proudly placed 2nd at the Pan African Schools Debate Championships, competing against some of the best teams on the continent. Locally, we also finished 2nd in the East London League, a competitive circuit with some of the region’s top schools.

Now, we’ve been selected to compete at the 2025 Primary Schools National Debate Championships this October (19th to 21st) at Holy Family College, Johannesburg, and we need your help to make it there.

Attending Nationals means more than a medal, it means being seen, heard, and challenged at the highest level of primary school level debate in South Africa.

What do we need?
