Delanie is a 16 year old girl of a colleague and dear friend. She was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma in her left pelvis in October 2022.Was started on 3 weekly chemo regimen and in March 2023 chemo was stopped and radiation was started. In May new scans were done and it was found that the cancer metastasized to her liver, lungs, bones, spine and breasts. Chemo was recommenced again on the old regimen. Treatment is planned according to what medical aid authorizes.
