My husband in his teenage years started experiencing lipomas growing on his arms and legs. He saw a few doctors (gp's) and they told him that it was just lipomas(fatty lumps), it's not cancerous, everyone has them and he must not worry about it too much. 

Doctors incorrectly told him that it won't affect his health in anyway. Now that he is older, It causes him debilitating pain and paralysis and he cannot work any longer. 

At age 32 he started experiencing severe soreness and would take pain medication to reduce the pain and he would just go on with his day. 

At age 34-35 he started experiencing frequent pins and needles (paralysis) and numbness in his hands and legs and this was affecting his working abilit...
