Urgent Medical Appeal: Helping My Special Needs Daughter Fight Cancer
Dear friends, family, and kind hearts,
I am writing to you today as a single mother and I also had to resign from my employment to become Desire fulltime caregiver. Asking for support was not an easy decision for me but my beautiful 40-year-old special needs daughter, is currently fighting the battle of her life and i have to do anything in my power to help her
Our battle began on 26 June 2024, when she underwent surgery to remove part of her colon and was diagnosed with Stage 2 colon cancer. She bravely endured 8 rounds of intravenous chemotherapy alongside 8 cycles of oral treatment.
Tragically, in 2025, she was hit with another devastating blow: high-grade ovarian cancer. She underwent a full hysterectomy followed by another 6 grueling rounds of chemotherapy.
Now, in 2026, we received the heartbreaking news that the cancer has spread, resulting in liver metastases and rectal cancer.
